Privacy Policy
Basic recording and playback can be performed locally on your device. Audio or transcript text is sent to the service providers identified below only when you use online features such as real-time transcription, text organization, or AI summaries and provide explicit in-app consent. We do not use this content for advertising or cross-app tracking.
1. Data We Process
Local recordings and metadata
The app stores recording files and related metadata on your device, including the recording title, creation date, duration, markers, transcripts, and summaries. This data supports recording, playback, search, renaming, export, and deletion. Basic recording does not require sending recording content to a third-party AI service.
Real-time speech transcription
When you enable real-time transcription and explicitly consent, microphone audio is transmitted over an encrypted connection to Tencent Cloud Real-Time Speech Recognition to convert speech into text. We do not use this audio for advertising or profiling.
Text organization and AI summaries
When you request punctuation and paragraph organization or an AI summary and explicitly consent, the complete transcript of that recording is sent to the developer-operated server easyjava.online and then to DeepSeek to produce the requested result. A transcript may include personal information spoken in a recording. Do not submit sensitive content that you do not want processed in the cloud.
Apple Speech Recognition
When you generate a recording transcript, the app may use Apple Speech Recognition. Depending on your device, system, and language settings, audio may be processed by Apple. This feature is governed by the system Speech Recognition permission and Apple's privacy policy.
iCloud sync
If you choose to enable recording sync with iCloud, recording files and metadata are stored in your iCloud container for restoration and use across devices. Apple processes iCloud data under its privacy policy. You can disable sync or delete iCloud recording data in the app's settings.
Subscription verification and feedback
To verify Plus subscription status, the app processes the App Store receipt, product identifier, and necessary security verification information. If you send feedback, we receive the content you enter and any contact information you voluntarily provide. We use this information only for subscription verification, security, and customer support.
2. Recipients of Data
- Tencent Cloud: receives real-time audio streams for speech recognition. See the Tencent Cloud Privacy Statement.
- DeepSeek: receives transcript text for punctuation, paragraph organization, and summary generation. See the DeepSeek Privacy Policy.
- Apple: provides App Store subscriptions, Speech Recognition, and iCloud when enabled by the user.
- easyjava.online: the developer-operated proxy and verification server used to route requested content to the applicable service, return results, verify subscriptions, and prevent abuse.
We require service providers that process user data to maintain protections consistent with this policy and applicable law. We do not sell recordings, transcripts, or summaries, and we do not share them with advertising networks or data brokers.
3. Consent and Withdrawal
Before audio is first sent to Tencent Cloud, or transcript text is first sent to easyjava.online and DeepSeek, the app identifies the data, recipient, and purpose and requests your explicit consent. If you decline, local recording, playback, and management remain available, but the related cloud transcription, text organization, or AI summary feature will not operate.
You can withdraw consent for third-party AI data sharing in the app's Settings. Withdrawal stops future transmissions. You can also disable microphone, Speech Recognition, Photos, or iCloud access through system settings.
4. Retention and Deletion
- Local recordings and metadata remain until you delete the recording or uninstall the app.
- iCloud data remains until you delete it in the app or manage and delete it using Apple's iCloud controls.
- easyjava.online processes transcript text and necessary verification requests only for the time needed to complete the request and does not sell them as advertising data. Third-party providers may retain necessary technical logs and security records under their policies and applicable law.
- Feedback and support records are retained as needed to resolve the request and meet security, audit, and legal obligations.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of data under our control through Settings → Feedback or by emailing majianning@jiacheng.center. We may verify the request and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
5. Security and International Processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including HTTPS, to protect data in transit and restrict access to systems and personnel that require it to provide the requested feature. Cloud providers may process data outside your country or region. Where required, we apply safeguards required by applicable law.
6. Children
The app is not directed primarily to children. Minors should use cloud processing features only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian and should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information.
7. Changes to This Policy
If the data types, purposes, or third-party recipients materially change, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent again through an in-app notice. We will not use previously collected data for an incompatible new purpose without new explicit consent.
8. Contact Us
For questions about this policy, our data practices, or a deletion request, contact us through Settings → Feedback in the app or email majianning@jiacheng.center.
